About Me

I'm optimistic, friendly, understanding and love being with family and friends. I have interest in reading inspirational and motivational books, magazines, specially books related to education. I love to learn new things, explore the net, meeting new people, cooking, listening to music and travelling.

How much do you know in Japanese?

I've been studying Japanese for more than 5 years and had spent about  900 hours learning the language, I will make effort and continue to exlpore more and practice specially the kanji, grammar, honorifics and conversational Nihongo to be more competitive.

About Me

I'm 28, love learning, love the Takarazuka Revue, and um... tons of other things!!!

One day I would love to travel to Japan, like many many times, and when I do I would like to be able to communicate in Japanese to my friends and other people, and to understand fully the plays that I plan to go and see!! And possibly to actually talk to the actors themselves, in Japanese. ^_^

How much do you know in Japanese?

It's hard to say. For years and years, I've casually tried to learn the basics.

For the last two years, I've been constantly listening to Japanese dramas, plays, radio, music, some anime, interviews, etc.

I've learned a *tiny* bit of grammer.

I can understand a lot of what my Japanese friends say on the net, on blogs, etc but I can't for the life of me form my own sentences (with the exception of very basic phrases)

Last year, I studied and learned a little over 600 of the most common kanji. With that, I think I picked up a ton of words, too. I may have forgotten a bunch of them, but have picked up just as many different ones while browsing the web (the Japanese web!)

So... I lack some very fundamental grammar and the ability to express myself in Japanese, but I can understand quite a lot of Japanese at the same time. Hm.:/
